The first InstallFest of 2006 was a success. We had a lot of fun and managed to learn a little too. It was mostly regular members who turned out for the event but that was fine. We had plenty of time to goof around with different GNU/Linux distributions. We looked at/discussed Scientific Linux, Kanotix, the lg3d live cd, as well as others. One good thing that came out of this meeting was the discovery of Cafe Breve. This is the coffee bar area on the third floor, above the Tech Center. It has plenty of space, convenient electrical outlets, and wireless internet access. Thanks to everyone who came. Here are some visual highlights.
